Trail Events Scenic Nature Walk with Local Audubon Society Enjoy the Splendors of Fall Join us for a nature hike on Owl's Roost Trail's five-mile loop walk. Co-sponsored by T. Gilbert Pearson Audubon Society, the hike will be moderate paced, stopping occasionally to observe wildlife and scenic views. Bring your binoculars, water, snack, and wear sturdy shoes. Be aware Owl's Roost Trail is also used by mountain bikers and has its share of hills and dips. Plan on a three-hour hike or longer, depending on what wonderful nature discoveries we make along the way.

Park gates close at various times throughout the year, so be aware of posted closing times. If you don't get your vehicle by closing, it may be locked in the park. If this happens, call the Greensboro Police Department at 373-2222 and ask to be let out or leave your vehicle until gates open in the morning. Check the Watershed Parks Web site for more information on closing times. Thank you and enjoy the trails.
Watershed Trails Get Safety Markers The Watershed Trails will soon be updated with new trail markers (see sample below). These markers, posted every quarter mile, will contain valuable safety information, trail mileage and a unique number for each trail. The numbers will be used by emergency services to find you if injured while using the trail. Please use the markers to keep track of your location in case of an emergency.
