Carolyn S. Allen Community Park Complex features four tournament fields that can be rented for private tournament use March through October on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, and for larger special events during the week. The complex features 300-foot fence distances with temporary fencing available for shorter specifications, adjustable base distances suitable for Adult Slow Pitch Softball, Girls Fast Pitch Softball, and Youth Baseball (with portable mounds). Other amenities include bleacher seating, concession stand, press-box tower and picnic shelters just outside the park. 

Visitors to Carolyn Allen Park are asked to abide by the following guidelines:
   1. Carolyn Allen Park is a smoke-free facility. Smoking inside the park is prohibited.
   2. No pets (dogs, cats, etc.) are allowed inside the park past the admissions gate.
   3. Coolers brought by spectators can be used at the shelters and in the parking lot,
       but are not allowed inside the park past the admissions gate.

The Simkins Indoor Sports Pavilion is a state-of-the-art multipurpose complex, housing four "sport court" combination basketball / volleyball courts, tennis courts and a large meeting room. The multipurpose athletics area and the large meeting room are available for leagues and clinics and may be rented for special events, based on availability. A full-scale tennis program is conducted inside the Sports Pavilion during the fall and winter months and outside at other city tennis centers in the spring and summer.
