Greene Pictures LogoGreene Pictures is City Arts Drama Center's community-based motion picture company. Short and experimental films are created throughout the year by anyone interested in the art of motion pictures.

Man with video cameraThere three sections of Greene Pictures are:

Greene Pictures Jr. (grades 4-9) - Students work with area professionals to learn how to shoot and edit their own movies. Workshops are held periodically throughout the year.

Teen Greene Pictures (grades 9 to age 20) - Scripts may be submitted by teen writers to the Drama Center for consideration. Selected scripts will be auditioned and crewed by local teens so they can learn all aspects of filmmaking.

Greene Pictures Prime - Short films (five to 20 minutes long) are shot over a two-weekend period, giving local actors more performance opportunities for on-camera experience. Simple scripts are accepted on an ongoing basis.
