The Music Center Summer 2011
   
          Kindermusik Summer 2011 Classes
                Registration is now open for Summer 2011 classes. 
                Kindermusik is for children ages newborn to age 6. 

        Greensboro Guitar Summer Workshop 2011
                For students ages 12-18 at all levels of playing, from beginner to advanced. 
                All styles of playing will be explored. The workshop runs 9 am to 3 pm daily
                from June 20-24 at the Greensboro Cultural Center. 

        5th Annual Carolina Band Blast 
                Join Gate City Horizons Band, Winston-Salem New Horizons Band, 
                Eastern Music Festival and the Music Center for the 5th annual Carolina 
                Band Blast July 22-24. Guest conductors will be Peter Perret, 
                conductor emeritis for the Winston-Salem Symphony, and Evan Feldman, 
                conductor of the Wind Ensemble and associate professor at UNC Chapel Hill. 
                Registration is now open.

                community performing ensembles, there is something for everyone, from youth to

Welcome to the Music Center, City Arts, and the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department. The Music Center has many musical opportunities to offer Greensboro residents and those from surrounding areas.

We currently have 15 community ensembles that are here for you to join. You do not have to be a professional musician to join these ensembles. We also offer private instruction on a variety of musical instruments. Contact the Music Center at 336-373-2549 for more information.
