Gate City Horizons Band is a nonprofit community band sponsored by the Music Center, City Arts and the Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department. The band is part of the New Horizons International Music Association, which promotes "Music for Life." The repertoire is varied and accommodates players at all levels, from beginner to advanced. Anyone interested in playing instrumental music is invited to participate whether or not they know how to play an instrument!

Gate City Horizons Band is available to play free concerts at various locations such as nursing homes, churches, parks, malls, and festivals.
