Kris Rawls
GYC Chair
Kris Rawls, a senior at the Early College of Engineering at Dudley High School, is the 2009-2010 chair. His duties as chair include supervising all executive board members, overseeing all GYC projects, and serving as office manager. This will be Kris’ third year in GYC. Kris is the president of the junior chapter of the National Society for Black Engineers (NSBE). His hobbies are playing video games and listening to music.

Hilary Chan
Internal Affairs Director
Hilary Chan is a senior at Early College at Guilford. As internal affairs director, she is responsible for planning special events for GYC members, ensuring the correct use of Parliamentary Procedure, and evaluating all projects and events. She also participates in volleyball and tennis at her school.

Joscelyne Mason
Recruiting Director
Joscelyne Mason, recruiting director, is a senior at Dudley High School. In this position, she is in charge of recruiting prospective members, leading orientations, and planning membership drives. She is also involved in the Delta Gems, Dudley Ladies and Health Club, and is SGA secretary at her school and Ms. Academy of the 2009-2010 school year.

Johnathan Petty
Records Director
A Page High School senior, Johnathan Petty is this year's records director. His job is to attend all executive board and full council meetings and record minutes, issue incentives, and keep track of all GYC volunteer hours. Johnathan is also involved in TRU. His hobbies include playing basketball and volunteering.
 
Marques Dotts
Public Relations Director
Marques Dotts, a senior at Grimsley High School, is this year's public relations director. He is responsible for writing press releases and sending announcements to media sources and Guilford County Schools about GYC’s upcoming events. Marques also participates in Teen Grantmaking Council and Youth Leadership Greensboro.

Richard Sosa
Historian
Richard Sosa, is a senior at Dudley High School. His job is to take pictures of GYC activities and to compile a yearly scrapbook for GYC. Richard is also involved in Dudley robotics, NSBE, and Sigma Beta Club. His hobbies include baseball, airbrushing, and traveling.

Devin Jones
Training Director
Devin Jones, a senior at Dudley High School, is this year's training director. The main objective of his job is to plan and run leadership training meetings. Devin is also involved in NSBE. His hobbies include playing baseball.

Monique Florence
Connections Editor
Monique Florence is a senior at Grimsley High School and she is this year’s Connections editor. Her job is to create a newsletter for GYC telling members and potential councilmembers about GYC’s latest events. She is involved in TRU and Smart Girls, and her hobbies include photography, photographic design, poetry, drawing, art, volunteering work, and hanging out with friends.

Sierra Lloyd
Sponsorship Director
Sierra Lloyd is a senior at Dudley High School and this year’s sponsorship director. Sierra’s job is to secure project sponsors for GYC events, secure sponsors for GYC’s general budget, and update sponsor information. She is involved in other organizations such as Dudley Ladies, Panthers for Christ, SGA Vice President, and is a varsity cheerleader. Her hobbies include cheerleading, writing poetry, hanging out with friends, and updating her Facebook page.
