Volunteer Information
All volunteers for the GYC Carnival must be in high school or home schooled. Incentives to volunteer include ride passes and free admission. Volunteers must work at least six hours or three shifts to receive a ride pass.

All potential volunteers must fill out an application and return it to the GYC office, 501 Yanceyville St., Greensboro, NC 27405.

 Volunteer opportunities for the Carnival include:

• Booths - Game booth, Pirate Maze, Face Painting, Tattoos, Arts & Crafts and more
• Entertainment - Assisting with Battle of the Bands and the Carnival Stage
• Business - Ticket Sellers, Ticket Takers
• VIC - Volunteer Registration, Hospitality
• Operations - Event Operations

Booths and Business need more volunteers than the rest, so keep that in mind when you sign up. And make sure you spread the word. The GYC Carnival is May 11-16, so mark your calendars!

Carnival applications are available for pick-up at the GYC office. You can also download an application. Application deadline will be posted soon.

Remember: Volunteering at the Carnival is a great way to beef up your resume, get ride passes and volunteer in your community. But you must apply. An informational session called the Volunteer Rally will take place on May 11 at the Greensboro Coliseum.
