Do you want to perform at the GYC Carnival?

The Greensboro Youth Council would like to invite you to be part of our Entertainment Stage. The GYC Carnival is an excellent opportunity to share your talent with the community. Come join the fun!

Regular Performers

Specifically, the stage is an additional source of entertainment for Carnival-goers. Every year, we play host to an average of 40,000 people. We invite a variety of local dance troupes, choral groups, martial arts schools, bands, gymnast teams, and others to perform so our community can recognize and appreciate the talent that exists here. All types of performances are needed, the available times for performers will be posted soon.

Battle of the Bands

GYC is also looking for bands to compete in the annual GYC Battle of the Bands competition at the GYC Carnival on Saturday, May 15 from 1-7 pm. Impress your fans and gain even more! There is a $20 registration fee for each band accepted to compete. Space is limited and musical content must be appropriate for all ages. The first-place band wins $500 cash and will be invited to play at the annual Fun Fourth Festival!
