High IQ Bowl 

The High IQ Bowl was a scholastic competition that brings together the top students from North Carolina and Virginia. In this Greensboro Youth Council program, outstanding high school juniors and seniors compete against one another for cash scholarships. The final High IQ Bowl was held on February 21, 2009.

Question Topics Included:
There were 16 questions in each of the following categories of the qualifying rounds:

• English: American literature, English literature, English language, grammar, spelling
• Social Studies: American history, world history, geography, social studies, North Carolina history
• Mathematics: algebra, geometry, calculus
• Science: biology, human biology, chemistry, physics, earth science, astronomy
• Culture: current events, sports, pop culture, performing arts, fine arts
