Sign Committee

As part of the new development ordinance rewrite effort, City Council has authorized the creation of a subcommittee to specifically address signage.

This committee includes people with a variety of interests to provide a well-balanced perspective on sign issues facing the City. The primary charge of the committee is to adapt City regulations to changes in sign technology involving digital and electronic mediums. The committee will review key sign issues and provide recommendations to the Citizen Advisory Team (CAT) for inclusion in the larger ordinance rewrite effort. 

The first meeting of the committee was on June 24. At this meeting, the committee established its schedule and location for meetings. At the second meeting on July 10, the committee reviewed key issues to be addressed in future meetings. These issues were voted on and ranked in order of importance.
