High Point Road / West Lee Street Corridor Plan

The City of Greensboro is developing a corridor plan to revitalize and enhance High Point Road and West Lee Street. Phase 1 of the plan will address the roadway and surrounding areas from South Eugene Street to Interstate 40. Information on the related process for the Glenwood neighborhood can be found at the Glenwood Neighborhood Plan website.

The High Point Road / West Lee Street corridor is identified in the City’s Comprehensive Plan as one of several areas that would benefit from visual improvements and increased economic opportunities. The City hopes this process will encourage both public and private investment in the area.  Planning efforts have also been taking place in several adjacent neighborhoods including Glenwood and Lindley Park.
