TRC Agendas (2011)
The Technical Review Committee (TRC) is made up of staff members from various departments within the City of Greensboro. The TRC is a public body responsible for approval of various technical development review functions (see LDO Sec. 30-3-4).
Agenda Make-up
The agenda contains several sections, including Sketch Plans, Business Agenda, and Development Issues. Sketch Plans includes plans submitted prior to the meeting to be discussed with plan review staff members. The Business Agenda contains items ready for approval (with no open issues) and items requiring modifications. Development Issues include plans that the development community has requested be discussed by the TRC.
Items Eligible for a Meeting When a plan has received an "Approval" status from all assigned review points by noon, it will be placed on the agenda for the TRC meeting to be held on the following business day. If seven copies of the latest version of the plan (with professional seals) are received in time for the meeting, TRC will take action on the plan. Sketch Plans are to be submitted five working days prior to the date of the scheduled meeting.
Meeting Schedule
TRC has the ability to hold meetings on any working day in order to take action on a plan. These meetings will begin at 10 am in the Development Services Conference Room located on the UG Level of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St., Greensboro. If there is no business to conduct at the scheduled daily meeting, the meeting will be canceled for that day.
