Greater Kirkwood Community 
The Greater Kirkwood Community is hard at work coming up with
ideas for its Neighborhood Conservation Overlay Plan. Interested parties have met several times, including two public meetings in which neighbors came up with ideas of what elements should be included in their NCO Plan. Downtown Design Overlay
Work continues on the Downtown Design Manual to ensure all interested parties are represented and have input into the creation of the manual. We look forward to bringing an updated version through the public hearing process during the winter of 2010.
Downtown Area Consolidated Plan
The City of Greensboro, Guilford County, Action Greensboro and Downtown Greensboro Inc. are embarking on an exciting new plan to keep the momentum going in downtown. The Downtown Area Consolidated Plan weaves together work from previous plans as well as builds on those efforts to keep our downtown safe, vibrant and engaging.
