Winslow, 21, was killed in an automobile accident while responding to assist a fellow officer. Officer Winslow was traveling on I-40, when a vehicle traveling in front of him caused him to swerve. In an attempt to avoid a collision, Winslow lost control of his vehicle. His vehicle struck a concrete bridge support in the median, killing him instantly.
