Captain D.K. Crotts
Assistant Chief D.K. Crotts joined the Greensboro Police Department in 1989 and currently serves as the Commander of the Patrol Bureau. He has worked for the agency in Patrol Operations, Internal Affairs, and the Tactical Division. He has also served as a Patrol Division Executive Officer overseeing District Criminal Investigations and Crime Abatement Team and as a Patrol Division Commander including oversight of the PNRC Unit. He is a graduate of Shaw University and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and holds a bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice and a Master of Public Affairs. He is a graduate of the University of Louisville, Southern Police Institute and the FBI National Academy.
