Internship Program
The Resource Management Division coordinates the Department’s College-Level Internship Program, which provides future police officers an opportunity to experience real-world police applications.
Interns are appointed to one of the following assignments: Division of Organizational Development, Criminal Investigations Division, Special Operations Division, Vice/Narcotics Division, the Crime Scene Investigation’s Unit, Division of Resource Management, or the Executive Officer to the Chief of Police. Interns work on “white paper” projects that serve to expand their knowledge and provide work-based experience to better prepare them for a career in law enforcement.
Applicants interested in an internship with a progressive, professional, and full-service police agency should contact Personnel Supervisor Daniel Tuttle at 336-373-2542 or via e-mail.
