Citizen Ride-Along Program 

Residents can observe police first-hand through participation as a passenger / observer in a marked police vehicle. Residents can ride with an officer for a period of six hours (between 7 am and 2 am). Safety requires the following rules:
  • Rides end at 2 am, regardless of start time
  • Limit of one ride every six months
  • Must be 18
  • No felonies
  • Valid driver's license
  • One resident per vehicle
  • 24-hour advance notice required
  • Casual dress suggested
