Homicide Investigation

GREENSBORO -- Greensboro Police are investigating a homicide that occurred early this morning at an unknown location. At approximately 3:00 am, a victim was transported to Moses Cone Hospital by private vehicle. The victim had a gunshot wound and died a short time later. The victim has been identified as Preston Mathew Angelo, WM 15, 2502 Laramie Drive. 

Detectives are still attempting to determine the location of this homicide. This is the 11th homicide investigation of 2007. The investigation is continuing and persons with information are asked to contact the Criminal Investigation Division at (336) 373-2255 or Crime Stoppers at (336) 373-1000.
