Homicide Investigation

GREENSBORO -- September 25, 2007 -- Greensboro Police Detectives are investigating a homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon at approximately 5:30 pm. Officers responded to 2103 East Cone Boulevard in reference to a shooting. When they arrived on the scene, they located a gunshot victim inside the business called Angie’s Hats. The victim, who was pronounced dead on the scene, has been identified as Betty Sibert Thomas, 70. She was the store clerk.
