 Juveniles Arrested in Armed Robbery

Greensboro Police have charged three juveniles, ages ranging from 14-15, with robbery with a dangerous weapon following an incident at 3803 Rockwood Manor on Thursday, January 24 at approximately 5 pm.

The victim was exiting her vehicle when approached by two young black men armed with handguns. According to police reports, the suspects demanded the woman's car keys, but she refused to comply. The suspects then grabbed her purse, but she held on to it and a struggle ensued. The woman was knocked to the ground and the suspects fled with the purse.

The suspects were described as being in their teens, one tall, one short, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts.

More than two hours later, a group of subjects matching the suspects' descriptions were seen in the 16th Street and Cheshire Way area. The youth fled into the woods when they saw a patrol officer. A perimeter was established and canine teams responded. The suspects were arrested and placed in the Juvenile Detention Center.
