Assault Investigation Underway

Greensboro Police detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred today at 2704 Patio Place. Shortly after noon officers responded to a possible stabbing incident at this address. The victim, Chadwick Dominic Davis, 27, sustained a serious knife wound and has been admitted to Moses Cone Hospital.

A suspect has been arrested in the case: Trobie Watlington, 17. He is charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury. Watlington is being held in the Guilford County Jail under $5,000 bond.
