Driver Charged in Auto Accident

Greensboro Police have filed charges against Jamar Korey Summers, 22, in regards to a collision with an unoccupied parked vehicle. The incident occurred shortly after midnight on Saturday, January 26 at Glen Hollow and Meadow Dew roads.

Summers and his three passengers were all injured; one was transported to Moses Cone Hospital with life-threatening injuries. Summers has been charged with driving while intoxicated, driving 65 mph in a 30 mph zone, careless and reckless, and misdemeanor possession. The investigation is ongoing.
