 Arrest Made in Angie's Hat Shop Case

Greensboro Police have arrested Michael Vernard Thompson, 23, for the murder of Betty Sibert Thomas on September 25, 2007 at Angie's Hat Shop on E. Cone Boulevard. He was also charged with armed robbery in this case.

Police have also charged Thompson with attempted armed robbery at the Kangaroo Store on Pleasant Garden Road and shooting of the clerk there.
