The Customer Service Division is responsible for meter reading, billing and addressing customer concerns about billing and service. The division processes applications for service, and turns water on and off.

The Operations Division maintains fire hydrants, water and sewer lines, sewer pump stations, water valves, and water meters. It also administers the Fats, Oils and Grease Program to educate Greensboro's residents and businesses about proper disposal of cooking grease and oils.

The Engineering Division is responsible for the design and coordination of the engineering needs of the City's water and sewer infrastructure.

The Stormwater Management Division works to alleviate flood-related problems, improve water quality in streams through plan review and policies, monitor the quantity and diversity of aquatic life in our streams, and assist residents on drainage issues.

The Water Reclamation Division removes contaminants from wastewater, or sewage, and releases it safely into nearby streams. The Industrial Pretreatment Program is also administered by this division.
