Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) Collection Center
The HHW Collection Center is open to residents of Greensboro and Guilford County. Use by commercial entities is prohibited.  

The HHW program provides residents with a safe, economical, and environmentally sound disposal option for hazardous materials. The program also:
  • decreases injury to solid waste workers 
  • diminishes the possibility of groundwater contamination
  • assists in meeting state waste reduction goals.

Hours:  Wednesday - Friday, 10 am-6 pm and Saturday, 8 am-2 pm

Directions
From I-40 East:  Take the Patterson Street Exit and go left. Cross Holden Road and the HHW Center will be on the left shortly after the light.

From I-40 West:  Take the High Point Road Exit. Turn right onto High Point Road.  Turn left onto Patterson (Greensboro Coliseum is on right). Go about one-half mile and HHW Center is on the right.
