On January 28, 2008, the City of
Greensboro began emptying your brown recycling container every other week. This change from weekly collection allows the City’s recycling program to operate more efficiently by better meeting the collection needs of residents. The day of your collection remains the same.

To find out when your recycling is collected, simply locate your street address on the map. Your residence will be located in either a red or a blue area. The calendar shows which weeks recycling will be collected in the red and blue areas. 

You can also type in your street address and the weeks of your collection will appear automatically.

Your green trash container will still be emptied weekly.
