Every Other Week Recycling and Bulk
In January 2008, the City of Greensboro began emptying your brown recycling container every other week. On August 9, 2010, the City began collecting bulk items—items too large to fit in your trash container, such as furniture—every other week on the same day as your recycling collection.
To find out when your recycling and bulk are collected, simply locate your street address on
this map. Your residence will be located in either a red or a blue area. The calendar shows which weeks recycling and bulk will be collected in the red and blue areas.
You can also type in your street address into this Service Finder program and the weeks of your collection will appear automatically.
Your green trash container will still be emptied weekly.
