Customize your trash disposal options based on the size and location of your business.

Large businesses that use dumpsters for trash disposal may be eligible to use the City’s fee-based commercial waste program or our low-cost dumpster recycling service.

Home-based businesses and other small business locations may be eligible for residential garbage collection. One green roll-out trash can is provided at no charge. A second can may be purchased for $70. If a business generates more trash than can be enclosed in these two containers, the business must make arrangements with a private trash hauler. Overflow trash that does not fit in the containers will not be collected.

Downtown trash collection is available Monday - Saturday. Large waste generators may be required to use dumpster service. If you don't have room for a dumpster, Downtown Greensboro Inc. manages several shared waste compactors for a fee.
