Parking Tickets
Parking tickets are issued by Greensboro Police officers for violation of the City’s parking code. The face amount of a parking ticket can range from $5 to $250, depending on the violation. A $25 late payment penalty is assessed on all unpaid tickets, 45 days after the issue date.

If you have questions you may visit the Collections Division in Room 112 on the Plaza Level of the Melvin Municipal Office Building at 300 West Washington Street. 

Making payments in personIf you would like to make payments in person, visit our location at the Melvin Municipal Office Building or at the J. Edward Kitchen Operations Center located at 2602 S. Elm-Eugene St., Greensboro.

Making payments by drop boxA payment drop box is located on the exterior wall to the left of the front entrance of the J. Edward Kitchen Operations Center. It is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Only checks and money orders are accepted; no cash. All payments must include a payment stub to assure proper credit. Payments deposited in the drop box will be posted by 5 pm on the next business day following payment.
