Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission
The Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, July 25, 2007 at 4 pm in the City Council Chamber located on the second floor of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington Street. The tentative agenda is as follows:
1. Approval of Absences
2. Approval of Minutes, May 30, 2007 Meeting
3. Applications for Certificate of Appropriateness (Public Hearing)
a) 601 N. Church Street – Replace vinyl windows with wood windows (continued)
b) 914 N. Elm Street – Construct new sign
c) 210 Isabel Street – Tree removal and replacement
d) 614-620 N. Elm Street – Expansion and landscaping of existing parking lot
e) 627 Summit Avenue -- Paint exterior of building and close in one entrance door at rear of building with brick
f) 709 Percy Street -- Replace front porch floor with poured concrete
g) 111 Cypress Street -- Exterior alterations to front porch
h) 613 Park Avenue – Replace square porch columns with round columns and other alterations as part of front porch repairs.
i) 912 Spring Garden Street – Demolition of garage. Items from Commission Chairman
j) 215 S. Mendenhall Street – Request for reconsideration of denied application for tree removal
