Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission
The Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, March 28, at 4 pm in the City Council Chamber located on the second floor of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington Street. The tentative agenda is as follows:
1. Approval of Absences
2. Approval of Minutes, February 28, 2007 Meeting
3. Applications for Certificate of Appropriateness (Public Hearing)
a) 213, 215 West Fisher Avenue – Construction of walled meditation garden and handicap ramp at back of houses
b) 1101 Virginia Street – Convert garage into studio space
c) 604 Fifth Avenue – Window replacement
d) 405 A & B Fulton Street – Replace brick edge around terrace at front of building with concrete edge
e) 925 Carr Street – Enclose back porch
f) 410 Fulton Street – Replace wood shingles on second story with pre-finished fiber cement shingle siding
4. Public Hearing on Petition Under Ordinance to Prevent Demolition By Neglect for Property at 612 Park Avenue in the Charles B. Aycock Historic District
