Rehab loans and deferred loans are available at 3 percent interest for the actual cost of rehabilitation, but the cost of repairs cannot exceed $43,400. You can take up to 20 years to repay the loan.
Eligibility Requirements

Your home is within Greensboro City limits.

You own and occupy your home.

Tax value of your property does not exceed $130,104.

Credit check and loan qualification is required.

Equity in the property must exceed the combined total of the rehab loan.

Your family income can not exceed 80 percent of the area median income adjusted for family size (see below)
