The City operates three indoor public pools on a year-round basis: the Greensboro Aquatic Center, Smith High School, and Smith Senior Center. The Greensboro Aquatic Center is part of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, and Smith High School and Smith Senior Center pools are operated by the Parks and Recreation Department.
Smith High School Pool, 2407 S. Holden Road (phone: 297-5042), is an indoor, 8 lane 25 yard pool accessed through the parking lot at the back of the school, off of Veasley Street. View operating schedules, fees, and programs here.
Parks and Recreation also operates four outdoor pools during the summer months (Memorial Day weekend through mid-August):
Lindley Pool, 2914 Springwood Drive
Peeler Pool, 1300 Sykes Avenue
Warnersville Pool, 601 Doak Street
Windsor Pool, 1601 E. Lee Street
Two spraygrounds are operated free of charge during the summer months: one at Barber Park, and one at Keeley Park.
