Ghoulash!, a project of the Greensboro Youth Council (GYC), takes over the Cultural District for four hours of spooktackular, candy-grabbing family fun!

Where: The Cultural District is located at the corner of Friendly Avenue and Davie Street. Ghoulash! is a great way to enjoy tons of safe, fun Halloween activities with the entire family.

Costume Contest Information:

  • 2:30-3 pm - Registration for ages 0-3
  • 3-3:30 pm - Ages 0-3 on stage
  • 3-3:30 pm - Registration for ages 4-6
  • 3:45-4:15 pm - Ages 4-6 on stage
  • 3:45-4:15 pm - Registration for ages 7-10
  • 4:30-5 pm - Ages 7-10 on stage

2014 Ghoulash! Chair, Naomi Onadein

Naomi Onadein, a junior at Page High School, will serve as this year's Ghoulash! Chair. As chair, she will be responsible for securing a project staff and supervising them to complete tasks, such as selecting activities and scheduling volunteers. Naomi is also a member of Cove Creek Gardens and ArtQuest. She enjoys dance, sailing, volunteering, and hanging out with friends.

Rain Plan: In the event of rain, all GYC events will be moved inside the Cultural Arts Center, 200 N. Davie St. We will have all the activities listed above, minus inflatables and the Maze.
