The Historic Preservation Commission holds a public hearing at its regular monthly meeting to receive comments on a National Register nomination for the James H. and Anne B. Willis House, 707 Blair St. The meeting takes place at 4 pm January 28, in the Plaza Level Conference Room of the Melvin Municipal Office Building, 300 W. Washington St. Send written comments to the Planning Department, PO Box 3136, Greensboro, NC, 27402-3136 or e-mail them.

There are 12 National Register Historic Districts In Greensboro and 34 individually listed properties.

The National Register of Historic Places is administered by the US Department of the Interior through the NC State Historic Preservation Office (NCSHPO). The NCSHPO website includes lists by county of historic properties, sites and districts that have been listed or determined eligible for listing in the National Register.
