The City has been asked to review and comment on the nomination of the Carolina Cadillac Company building, 304 E. Market St., as a national historic place. The Greensboro Historic Preservation Commission will review the issue at its May 28 meeting. 

National Register PlaqueThe National Register of Historic Places is the nation's official list of cultural resources worthy of preservation.

In Greensboro, there are more than 38 properties and 12 districts listed in the National Register.

The National Register of Historic Places is administered by the US Department of the Interior through the NC State Historic Preservation Office (NCSHPO). The NCSHPO website includes lists by county of historic properties, sites and districts that have been listed or determined eligible for listing in the National Register.
