The Community Relations Division is the primary contact for residents' requests and complaints, and serves as liaison to City Council for addressing residents' inquiries.
Staff members attend neighborhood and business association meetings to assist with questions regarding City services and help resolve related concerns.

Other Services Offered by Community Relations
- Community Relations offers an outreach program to teach new residents, immigrants, and refugees about City services. The division also partners with community organizations to ensure inclusion and a smooth transition for those who are making new homes in Greensboro.
- Community Relations manages the City's compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), which includes auditing City facilities, programs and services for accessibility and serving as the City’s representative on the Mayor’s Committee for Persons with Disabilities.
- The Community Relations Division is also responsible for administering and facilitating the premier government educational program, Government Works: A City Academy. This two and a half month program teaches participants about all aspects of City government, while seeking to develop future leaders and build a better community through well-informed and civically engaged residents.
