 New Utility Billing Changes Occurring

The City's utility billing system is being upgraded to improve efficiency. The upgrade includes consolidation of some billing cycles and routes, estimated to save the City more than $5,000 annually in gas and vehicle maintenance costs. The majority of our customers will not experience a noticeable impact on their billing. However, some may see a slight change in meter reading shifts and bill mailing date. Questions?

Water Treatment Process Changes

The City of Greensboro Water Resources Department changed the disinfectant from chlorine to chloramines to meet new federal drinking water regulations. The treatment process change also occurred in Archdale, Burlington, High Point, Jamestown, Randleman, Reidsville and the Piedmont Triad Regional Water Authority. Chloramines is a reliable alternative that has been used by many utilities across the United States for more than a century. Learn more about the chloramines conversion
