In an effort to support the economic growth of Greensboro’s small businesses – defined as those with 100 or fewer employees – the City publishes a listing of small businesses on this website. The list will be updated the first of every month.
To be included on this list, which is linked below, small business owners are required to purchase a Business Privilege License and renew it annually. This is accomplished by business owners submitting to the City’s Collections Division a completed Privilege License Application and paying their required fee(s). Section B (4) on the Privilege License Application asks applicants if they want their small businesses’ information published on the City’s website. Those who check “yes” to this answer when they submit their application are included on the list below.
