Student Nature Photography Contest
Entries: The contest is open to students in grades K-12. Entry must be taken by the student and be a 4 x 6 photo depicting nature in Guilford County. (Do not mat or the frame photo.)
A 3 x 5 index card must be enclosed with the following information:
- Student’s name, address, phone number
- School and grade
- Sentence stating that you — the student — personally took the photo in Guilford County
- Title for the photo
- Location in Guilford County where it was taken.
Entry must be hand-delivered in a sealed envelope to the Kathleen Clay Edwards Family Branch Library, 1420 Price Park Dr. (off Hobbs Road) on March 8, 2017, 6 - 8 pm. No early, late or mailed entries will be accepted. One entry per student will be accepted.
Student Nature Photography Contest 2017
Note: Only the first 100 photos for each school category — elementary, middle, and high school — will be entered in the contest.
Judging: Each Earth Day participant will be allowed to cast one vote in each school category. Winners will be announced before the close of the event. Contestants do not need to be present to win.
Winners: First and second place prize winners will be chosen in each of the three school categories. Prizes provided by area businesses.
