Winter Hours for City Lakes Begin November 1

Effective November 1 through February 28, 2013, Greensboro Parks and Recreation winter operational hours take effect for Lake Higgins, Lake Brandt and Lake Townsend. Regular operational hours are from 8 am to 5 pm and each lake will be closed two days per week as follows:
• Lake Higgins: closed Monday and Tuesday
• Lake Brandt: closed Tuesday and Wednesday
• Lake Townsend: closed Wednesday and Thursday.
