Gillespie Golf Course Hosts Free Adaptive Golf Clinics Beginning March 25

The Greensboro Parks and Recreation Department, in partnership with the Greensboro Elks Lodge, will offer free adaptive golf clinics for people with physical disabilities from 10-11:30 am March 25, April 29 and May 20, at Gillespie Golf Course, 306 E. Florida St. Register by calling 336-373-5852 or 336-373-2954.

The clinics are designed to make the game of golf accessible to people of all abilities. Specially trained golf professionals will teach adaptive techniques for a players’ swing and stance. The clinic is appropriate for teenagers and adults. No previous golf experience is needed to participate.
