Submit Your Participatory Budgeting Ideas Online
Posted Date: 4/20/2017 3:15 PM

Do you have an idea for a project you would like to see the City fund through Greensboro’s Participatory Budgeting (PB)? Submit the idea online until May 15.

Greensboro Participatory Budgeting is a democratic process that allows residents to directly decide how to spend $500,000 in public funds. The idea collection website contains interactive features, such as a map that allows you to pick a location where you want to see a project implemented. It also allows you to see, comment on, and like ideas submitted by others.

You may submit ideas in person at the following idea collection meetings:

  • April 20, 6:30-8:30 pm, McNairy Library, 4860 Lake Jeanette Rd.
  • April 27, 6:30-8:30 pm, Benjamin Library, 1530 Benjamin Pkwy.
You may also request to have a PB volunteer host an idea collection at a public event in your neighborhood.

To request an idea collection event or become a PB volunteer, e-mail the project team or call 336-373-7750. For more information about PB, visit this website.
