Parks and Recreation Hosts Wheelchair and Adaptive Tennis Clinic November 6

Parks and Recreation’s Adaptive and Inclusive Recreation (AIR) Unit, in partnership with Wheelchair Tennis and First Volley Adaptive Tennis Clinics, will offer a free tennis clinic for individuals with physical disabilities from 1-4 pm, Monday, November 6, the UNCG tennis courts, 200 West Dr. Register online.

Tennis is a lifelong sport and can be used for physical rehabilitation. This clinic will introduce individuals to the sport. Wheelchair tennis instruction will be provided by two-time NCAA Champion Sarah Casteel. Adaptive tennis instruction will be led by USTA NC and First Volley Instructor Amy Franklin.
