19th Annual National Trails Day Festival

National Trails day is part of a nationwide event organized by the American Hiking Society. Our local festival is family- and dog-friendly, and free for all ages. Bring the whole family, your lawn chairs or picnic blankets, and settle in for the day.
Discover different ways to explore trails whether by guided hikes or mountain bike rides, and enjoy live music, food trucks and a free raffle. For more information about the event or how to become a vendor, call the event coordinator at 336-373-3816 or e-mail us.
Street parking will be limited around Cumberland Park. Shuttle vans will be available from the parking area at War Memorial Stadium, 510 Yanceyville St.
|Piedmont Hiking and Outing Club leads a guided hike around Lake Townsend. Long hike participants will receive a free Trails Day t-shirt at the festival.
