Course
This year, the race offers a novice course and a pro course. But the course maps will remain "top secret" until the day of the race. For more information about the trail system surrounding the area of Lake Brandt, check out Greensboro's mountain biking and hiking map.
The Novice Course is offered for new participants interested in trying 
the sport of adventure racing. The course takes 2-4 hours and includes a 1-2 mile paddle, 7-10 mile mountain bike, and 2-5 mile run.
The Pro Course is for more experienced racers who want a challenge. This course takes 4-6 hours and includes a 2-5 mile paddle, 10-20 mile mountain bike, and 6-10 mile run.
Both the novice and pro courses require basic navigation and orienteering through our trail system. The course will be marked minimally. Included in the registration fee are solo kayaks for the solo divisions, tandem kayaks for the two person teams, and canoes for three person teams, as well as paddles and personal floatation devices. Along the courses there will be a series of check-points and obstacles that are kept secret until racers approach them. The exact order, distance, and route of the race will be revealed on race day.

Registration
Online race registration is now open. This event will be held rain or shine and the registration fee is non-refundable. Team rosters need not be finalized until race day. Race registration will close September 1 at 11:59 pm.
