Background
In 2010, the Greensboro City Council commissioned a disparity study to receive recommendations for how the City's Minority and Women Business Enterprise Program could be improved. The 2012 Disparity Study for the Minority and Women's Business Enterprise Program was presented to City Council on June 19.

Today
The City remains committed to moving forward with its economic development efforts and increasing its use of historically underutilized businesses. The Community Relations Steering Committee held focus group sessions in the fall to gather input about the disparity study.
