US Government's Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS) - This site helps veterans, reservists, and National Guard members find jobs and information about their employment rights and benefits.

The Gold Card - The Gold Card provides unemployed post-9/11 veterans with services they need to succeed in today's job market. The Gold Card initiative is a joint effort of the Department of Labor's Employment and Training Administration (ETA) and the Veterans Employment and Training Service (VETS). Eligible veterans can print their gold card here.

US Veterans e-Benefits - This portal is a one-stop shop for benefits-related online tools and information for Wounded Warriors, veterans, service members, family of service members, etc. 

VONAPP - The Veterans Online Application (VONAPP) is an official US Department of Veterans Affairs website that enables service members, veterans and their beneficiaries, and other designated individuals to apply for benefits using the Internet.

My Next Move - This site offers a search engine where veterans can enter their prior military experience (branch of service and military occupation code or title) to find information about related civilian careers and training. The site also includes a link to an online assessment tool called the O*NET Interest Profiler, which provides results comparable to the Strong Interest Inventory being used in the new Transition Assistance Program (TAP).          

North Carolina Veterans Services

NC’s Division of Employment Security Veterans Services - A dedicated veteran service staff is assigned to 60 offices throughout the state to provide employment and training services to NC veterans. These offices also ensure the application of preference and/or priority services to veterans as prescribed by federal, state, and local laws. Local Veteran Employment Representatives (LVERs) and Disabled Veteran Outreach Specialists (DVOPs) are trained and ready to assist veterans with their employment and training needs.
