Summer Night Lights (SNL) is Greensboro's free series of summertime events and activities for teens. Events are held at City recreation centers, pools, libraries, the Greensboro Sportsplex and
Cultural Center. SNL activities start and end at different times, and
are open to all Guilford County youth ages 13-18.

What is SNL?
SNL is an expansion of the City's popular Midnight Basketball program and its premise is the same: offer a structured, safe environment that offers events and activities during traditional high crime times for youth may help prevent juvenile crime or reduce juvenile crime rates during summer months.  

By offering a variety of events and activities at various public locations throughout Greensboro, we are able to reach youth Girl teens hanging out at Summer Night Ligntsfrom all over Guilford County.

SNL is a collaboration between the Parks and Recreation, Police, and Libraries departments.

If you or your business would like to sponsor an event, please contact us. Volunteers are needed to help facilitate all events. Learn how you can help.

* Photos may be taken at events for use on the City's website or future SNL promotional material. If you do not want your child's photo taken, please contact us.
