The Business & Technology Division supports the Engineering and Inspection Department’s administrative and business and technology needs, manages the telecommunication franchise and assessment programs, and maintains the City's infrastructure records.
Administration & Contracting
Administration & Contracting manages the budgeting process, human resources support, and administrative services, and processes the City of Greensboro's construction contract payments.
The Technology group provides database and systems administration, business systems analysis, special reporting, software programming, and GIS and Web support services, and manages the department's technology leasing.
Records Management maintains the City’s infrastructure plans and records and coordinates bonding of private development projects.
Assessments provides infrastructure assessment support.
The Franchise Administrator administers the City of Greensboro's franchise agreements, cell tower locations, and right-of-way use for fiber optic cables.
