Community Preparedness Training
Special Preparedness Training is available to communities, places of business, and organizations. Did you know that all residences, places of business, institutions, nursing homes, special need facilities, daycare centers, schools and universities need to use well-placed
NOAA weather radios for all-threat alerts?
And did you know that community groups, churches, and neighborhood associations may contact either the
Greensboro Police Department at 373-2636 or
Fire Department at 574-4088 to schedule preparedness training, or that you may call
Guilford County Emergency Management at 641-2278 to discuss specific protective plans?
This site is designed to help you prepare your family, coworkers, and neighbors during emergencies. Sharing plans and communicating in advance is a good strategy. Like other areas of Homeland Security, the time to prepare is now!
